Principal Partner

Capt. Girish is the Principal Partner at Blue Horizon Inspections. A seasoned maritime professional with over 30 years of experience, he has been part of the maritime industry since 1996.

He brings extensive expertise in maritime operations, safety management, and crew training. Holding an MBA in Shipping Operations, he has served as both a Ship Master and in senior shore-based roles, demonstrating strong leadership across VLCC, product, and chemical tanker operations.

His areas of expertise include crisis management and providing strategic support to shipping companies in enhancing their SIRE 2.0, RightShip, and CDI performance indicators. He also has extensive experience in conducting a wide range of maritime audits and inspections.

Capt. Girish serves as an official consultant to more than 10 shipping companies, supporting them in improving compliance, strengthening safety standards, and enhancing overall operational performance.
